The Ponies

Dales ponies are originally from northern England and are currently listed as critically endangered with a population of 500 in the US. Dark Horse Ranch has acquired 4 Dales Ponies to use for breeding, training, and riding. In 2018 and 2019 we welcomed our first black ponies Mari and Neesie. They have such a beautiful presence and such wonderful personalities and have been the perfect addition to our farm. In 2023 proudly announced the arrival of our first blue roan filly DarkHorseDales Lyric out of our own mare Mari by Floridadales Blue Envoy In 2024 we welcome the arrival of our blue roan gelding Blackshadow Northstar from Blackshadow Dales in NY.
